German Company Gigaset, which made a name for cordless phones, decided to enter the tablet market with two models at once, which are executed in aluminum casings.
The range of manufacturer plates were named QV830 and QV1030. The first model is equipped with an 8-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. Its foundation is a 4-core CPU MediaTek MT8125, clocked at 1.2 GHz. The RAM is 1 GB, and the amount of internal flash memory – 8 GB. There slot Micro SD (support SDHC cards up to 32 GB). The equipment also includes the entry-level modules, wireless Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth (4.0 LE), rear and front facing camera resolution of 5 megapixels and 1.2 megapixels, accelerometer, compass and battery capacity of 3260 mAh.
Of great interest is the model QV1030. The “heart” is a novelty core Tegra 4 (T40S) with a frequency of 1.8 GHz, in possession of the 2 GB of RAM. IPS screen resolution is 2560×1600 pixels. At 10.1 inches diagonal dot density reaches 299 PPI. Amount of internal flash memory is twice more than the younger model, and is 16 GB. The tablet is equipped with a Gigaset QV1030 main camera resolution of 8 megapixels with dual LED lighting, autofocus and video recording Full HD.
The older model also boasts the presence of stereo speakers, dual-band module Wi-Fi 802.11n (2,4 and 5 GHz) to support MIMO technology and battery capacity of 9000 mAh.
Both models are running Android 4.2.2 OS and will go on sale in the domestic market in early December, the cost of plates and Gigaset QV830 QV1030 is € 199 and € 369 respectively.
