Back in 2011 a resident of Bonn Christine Roemer opened in his hometown of food establishments under the name Apfelkind («Apple baby”). 34-year-old housewife was successfully registered in the Patent Office in Germany logo coffee shop, in the form of the bitten apple with an inscribed profile of the child. Four months later, Christine received a request from Apple to stop using the logo with the threat in the event of failure to unleash a legal battle.
German woman threatening Americans are not scared, and she sent a counterclaim against Apple, which said that its logo has the original and do not violate any patent rights. As a result of the two-year trial, the Americans were forced to withdraw his complaint.
