Brand Gerber has expanded its line of relatively cheap everyday knives. And it includes two new knife called Airfoil and Skyridge AO. These knives are designed specifically for use in urban environments.
First knife Airfoil has a fairly standard design with a locking mechanism type Liner-Lock. But Skyridge AO is equipped with an automatic mechanism finishing blade and keypad lock.
The Blade of both models is made of Chinese stainless steel 7Cr17Mov. Hardness is within the parameters 55-58 HRC. Ergonomic handle knife Airfoil lining made of smooth color aluminum. In Skyridge AO used combined lining of glass fiber reinforced nylon with a distinctive textured design.
Full-length knife Airfoil disclosed almost 168 mm. Folded not more than 99 mm. And the length of the blade about 69 mm. The total length of Skyridge AO reaches 200 mm. Folded length is not exceeding 115 mm. Blade length is almost 83 mm.
New folding pocket knives Gerber Airfoil and Skyridge AO appear in retail sales in the coming days. Manufacturer assesses new items in 23 and $ 45 respectively. Some stores already possible to make a reservation for 18 and 33 dollars apiece.
