Dell has released a report on the financial results of the second quarter of fiscal 2014.
In the reporting period the company had generated revenue of $ 14.5 billion, which is comparable to the same period last year. With revenue division Enterprise Solutions Group totaled $ 3.3 billion (+8%), Dell Services – $ 2,1 млрд (+2%), Dell Software – $ 310 million, End User Computing – $ 9,1 млрд (-5%) . It is further noted that revenues in PCs and thin clients increased by 1%, but the income from the sale of mobile devices were down 10%. At the same time, Dell was the only one among the top five computer manufacturers, who have managed to increase the number of computers sold as compared to the same period last year and the last two calendar quarters.
