Cisco predicts boom wearable devices, which will lead to over half a billion devices used throughout the world by 2019. The company predicted a surge in popularity of smart devices in a report on the future of the Internet of things, which is posted on his blog. Cisco believes that in the period from 2015 to 2019 will 18-fold increase in mobile data traffic used wearable devices.
The report also says that “traffic growth will lead to a fivefold increase in the number of smart handheld devices, the amount of which will be in 2019 578 million.” Note that even in last year’s report, Cisco specialists pointed figures that are 50% smaller than those presented in the report this year.
The figures announced by Cisco, are the prospects for the development of wearable devices over the rainbow. Last year, Berg Insights predicted that by 2019, shipments of portable gadgets will increase only up to 168 million.
