So far Spotify Connect was only available for iPhone and iPad users but a few hours the official application is updated in the Play Store is now available on Android devices by introducing the ability to stream any song on Spotify’s vast catalog of supported external speakers, giving an experience similar to the already popular Apple Airplay.
The controls to activate the audio stream will also provide an immediate and complete control of music playback via the user interface for Android smartphone or tablet, obviously you have to be in possession of a Premium and an audio system compatible with Spotify Connect.

Unfortunately there are still some problems with the distribution KitKat, as we can read from the changelog, but the developers are working to resolve the issue with the next update.
