According to the latest rumors, the sixth installment in the Final Fantasy series is in development in order to land, in short, on Android and iOS.
For those who do not know, Final Fantasy VI is seen by many as the best game of the series, originally released for Nintendo, was the last game featuring 2D graphics before the transition to 3D with the seventh chapter. Now, this classic is about to get on the two most popular mobile OS.
The director and producer of Square Enix, Takashi Tokita has recently confirmed that the game is in production and said that the new game will be “like a remake of the original VI.” Final Fantasy VI will feature 2D graphics, optimized, of course, for smartphones and tablets.
Tokita has not even ruled out a mobile version of Final Fantasy VII, the most popular title in the series, in short, good news for the many fans of the hit video game series of the Japanese manufacturer. The sixth chapter will be available later this winter at a price (very likely) to 13 euro, in line with the other remake of Final Fantasy.
