The project GamePad for Archos was clearly a success, as the company has officially announced the successor of this device, received an unexpected name GamePad 2. Rumors about this device have appeared in the past month and for the most part, they were confirmed, and were complemented value of the unit.
In fact, GamePad 2 is a 7-inch tablet-based operating system Android 4.2, equipped with IPS-display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, a 4-core processor based on the ARM Cortex-A9 and 2 GB of RAM. Its main feature is the presence of hardware gaming controls, with a traditional layout: digital cross, a pair of analog sticks, a pair of shift and four game buttons.
