HTC M8 is back in the spotlight yesterday, after the first sighting in the AnTuTu benchmark of a terminal production of HTC that, taking into account the results obtained (over 36,000 points), implied the integration of the Snapdragon SoC 800 .
The assumptions have been correct, because the same official blog AnTuTu, based on the data captured by the benchmark outlining the profile of your smartphone with the main technical specifications in the following table:
The staff of AnTuTu put then compares the performance record made by HTC M8 with those of the HTC One, synthesising them in a second graph:
The identikit traced by AnTuTu database, in truth, it returns an image of a terminal rather than a true successor of HTC One looks like a kind of HTC One+, since, except for the new SoC and the diagonal display slightly larger, the remaining components is unchanged compared to the HTC One – camera Ultrapixel included.
The idea that it might be one of the first prototypes of the terminal and not the final version still appears likely. If not, and if the hardware profile that emerged from database AnTuTu actually corresponded to the final of the terminal, the risk of introducing on the market in the spring of 2014 a terminal born “old” would be quite high.
