Intel unexpectedly announced two tablet computers for educational institutions – Education Tablet 10” and 7” Education Tablet. However, while it is not clear whether they will be sold under the brand name Intel, or is it just a reference device that will take as a basis other companies.
Anyway, the two new items are based on processors Qualcomm Intel Atom; 10-inch Atom Z2460 uses a frequency of 1.6 GHz and a 7-inch – 1.2-GHz Atom Z2420. In this low-end model is running a newer operating system: Android 4.1 versus 4.0 in the case of Education Tablet 10”. In both cases, the supplied software will include Intel Education Software.
10-inch tablet has a 16-gigabyte drive, while the model with a diagonal of 7 inches 8 GB of memory and a slot for flash card format MicroSD. With the RAM situation is the same: it is in the plates for 1 GB. Cameras and there, and there are two – 2 and 0.3 megapixels.
