Vivo company in the domestic market in China has officially unveiled its flagship smartphone, called Xplay 3S.
In fact, the novelty is the world’s first smartphone with a screen resolution of 2K (2560×1440 pixels). Immediately it is worth to mention that this is not the only feature that distinguishes the product Vivo among other competing solutions.
Diagonal IPS type is 6 inches, and the pixel density (PPI) – 490 dpi. Serves as the basis smartphone SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AB), a configuration that includes a 4-core CPU Krait 400 c 2.3 GHz, GPU Adreno 330 to 550 MHz, wireless modules Wi-Fi (802.11n/ac) and Bluetooth (4.0), as well as the modem LTE. RAM is 3 GB, and integrated flash memory – 32 GB.
The device is equipped with two cameras. The main camera is based on the basis of 13-megapixel BSI CMOS image sensor of the third generation of 1/3, 06-inch lens with a maximum aperture of F / 1,8 and 28 mm EGF. Front camera in turn is equipped with an image sensor resolution of 5 megapixels and a wide angle lens with a viewing angle of 88 degrees.
Individual attention is given to the application Photo + video sharing, which imposes certain video on the selected picture, thus creating the effect of augmented reality (as in the video below).
Another special feature is the audio subsystem, which is represented by the tandem of digital-to-analog converter and amplifier ESS ES9018 TI OPA2604. Moreover, the smartphone also implemented technology DTS Headphone: X, which emulates a conventional stereo headphones surround sound 7.1 or even 11.1.
Vivo company also did not miss another key feature, which drew attention after the release of smartphone users iPhone 5S. Fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel directly under the LED flash. According to the manufacturer, the sensor can recognize different finger prints, and thus to make a quick transition to the so-called guest mode, in which some files become invisible. By the way, in addition to the functions assigned to unlock the smartphone sensor another role – the camera’s shutter.
