Some time ago, the Internet began to emerge rumors that Microsoft is working on a new – more compact – model tablet Surface mini. Now these rumors were partially confirmed.
For example, during a special event in Seattle, dedicated to Surface, a Microsoft spokesman Panos Panay (Panos Panay), said the company intends in the future to produce tablets of different shapes (with different aspect ratios) and sizes (with different screen sizes). However, he does not have any specific characteristics of the devices. We note, in late September, various sources reported that Microsoft plans to bring to market a tablet Surface mini, equipped with a 7.5-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. In this case, the sources mentioned different versions of image resolution display: 1440×1080 and 1400×1050 pixels.
Panos Panay also announced its intention to issue a modification Surface 2 tablet with support for LTE.It will be available early next year.
