The well-known American Knife Buck Knives company expanded its specialized collection of knives for hunting knives separate new series called Open Season Series Knives, which initially will consist of five different models, four knives with a fixed blade – Skinner, Small Game, Caper, Boning and only folding Knife Folding Skinner, who apparently inherits the first model.
Almost all knives except model Caper, made with the use of stainless steel 420HC with the stated hardness at least 58 HRC, Caper knife used S30V steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC. Knives Skinner, Small Game and Folding Skinner share a common direction and are suitable for different types of tasks in the field, including skinning. Full-length Skinner pattern is 209 mm, length 114 mm blade, knife Small Game reaches 193 mm in length, the length of a blade of about 108 mm. Length folding knife Folding Skinner does not exceed 120 mm, length of the blade is equal to 95 mm.
Models Caper and Boning designed specifically for skinning and butchering. Boning knife is characterized by the total length of about 260 mm and a length of the curved blade of at least 165 mm. Model Caper allocated a total length of not more than 178 mm, the length of the blade equal to 89 mm.
A new series of knives Open Season Series Knives are now available in the store and the company through some authorized dealers, recommended price of basic models Skinner, Small Game, Caper, Boning and Folding Skinner will be from 82 to 98 dollars per set.
