Texet presented a budget smartphone X-Basic, based on the new chipset MediaTek MT6572.
Actually, this news is interesting not so much by the smartphone as its platform. MediaTek MT6572 includes two processing cores ARM Cortex-A7 and a graphics accelerator Mali-400MP. In a press release on the announcement of the chipset, it is argued that it is “the world’s first single-chip solution for smart phones with dual-core, as well as built-in FM-radio, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi».
