According to rumors, leaked to the network in recent days, Canon would be preparing the release of a new professional camera sensor with a high “rate of megapixels.” This new model would be to include within a range that is already shaping up rather nourished, will be confirmed if the arrival of a new model similar to the D4 (which is rumored to be in production at its plant in Sendai, Japan) and that of a new EOS-1Dx, which should arrive during 2014.
The new product would answer to the name of the EOS-1, and should not have a dual sensor pixels, reserved just for the new 1Dx. The rumors claim that the announcement will take place at the ‘Photokina 2014 edition, bringing with very interesting news. The camera is expected also new targets, specifically designed to exploit the quality and the high resolution of the EOS-1.
