Samsung plans to renew its line of popular mid-range smartphones with 2016 edition Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, which may be released during the first months of next year. We have a lot of information and some pictures of new mobile devices.
Samsung Galaxy A9
Design
The Galaxy A9 is the largest model in the line of middle-class smartphones. The main feature is metal frame, which was previously used only high-end devices.
Specifications
Recently it was published benchmark test, which informs smartphone specifications. It is assumed that SM-A9000 will have Snapdragon 620 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
The screen seems to have a resolution of Full HD 1080p and diagonal seems to be 6 inches, although the first rumors reported about 5.5 inches. A few weeks ago this model also was certified Bluetooth 4.1.
Samsung Galaxy A7
Design
The new Galaxy A7 has many similarities with the high-end smartphones of the 2015. It is reported that the rear camera will be the same as it was at the Galaxy S6.
Its frame is made of metal and it looks like the back is made of glass, but could also be a good gloss plastic. Galaxy A7 weighs only 155 grams and thickness of 6.95 millimeters.
Specifications
The second-generation Galaxy A7 SM-A7100 model has been certified by the regulatory agency TENAA Chinese. This device has a 5.5-inch screen with Super AMOLED technology with a resolution Full HD 1080p. The processor is Snapdragon 615 quad-core 1.5 GHz and a GPU Adreno 405. RAM is well equipped with 3GB of RAM. Also smartphone has 16GB of internal memory.
The surprise is that Galaxy A7 has a slot for a microSD card up to 128 GB. The battery has a capacity of 2600mAh. Smartphone will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3
Design
In the first leaked images of the new Galaxy A3 and A5 we can see the same design imposed by the Galaxy S6. The photos was published by GSM Arena, and for the first time appeared in new Twitter account calledsleaknow, so we cannot confirm its veracity.
As you can see, the bottom is virtually identical to the Samsung Galaxy S6. The back of both smartphones covered with glass.
Camera sensors of both devices are located in the central part of the rear panel, similarly Galaxy S6.
Specifications
Unfortunately, at the moment nothing is known about the specifications of the smartphones, but we can make a few suggestions from photographs.
First, the Home button is very similar to the Galaxy S6 line and we can assume that it has a fingerprint reader. As we know, Samsung has promised to equip the fingerprint reader in the mid-range smartphones.
But there is another trend in 2016 that none of these models seem likely to continue: the USB Type C. As you can see in the images above, smartphones of the Galaxy A range have micro USB standard.
As you remember, 2015 edition of the Galaxy A3 had a diagonal of 4.5 inches, while the Galaxy A3 has 5 inches. It seems that the screen size will remain the same.
Price and release date of Samsung Galaxy A second generation
There is still no official information on any of these models, so we cannot know anything about the price and release date. However, it would be logical to appear on the market one year after its predecessors, ie, in early 2016.
