Rumors about the appearance of the “little” smartphone Sony Xperia Z1 overgrown with new details. If we believe there will be photos, soon Sony will introduce a smaller copy of its flagship – Z1 f (Z1 mini). In contrast to the reduced flagship Samsung and HTC, the smartphone will get the stuffing of the older model and only the display will have a resolution of HD, instead of Full HD, with a 4.3-inch diagonal.
As the hardware platform Z1 mini got SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, with a 2.26 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics accelerator. If the information is confirmed, Z1 mini has a chance to become the most productive unit, at least among the Android-smartphone. The closest smartphone that uses the same SoC, but without the Full HD-screen – LG Vu 3 , with a screen resolution of 1280×960 pixels. But the amount of built-in storage halved, while there is no information as to whether the smartphone memory card slot. Given the smaller screen size and, consequently, smaller size, 124.6×61.3×8.9 mm vs. 144x74x8.5 mm for Sony Xperia Z1, is to be expected that the battery capacity will be more modest, namely, 2300 mA * h Given the fact that until very recently, this capacity batteries were equipped Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia ZL with their 5-inch screens, it can be said that the developers Z1 mini can be proud of. For comparison, the size of Sony Xperia Z and ZL are 139x71x7.9 131.6×69.3×9.8 mm respectively.
Other equally important features of the Z1 mini will be 20.7 MP main camera and 2.2 MP front facing, dustproof, waterproof standard IP55/IP58 and Android 4.2, like all other Xperia Z1. It is assumed that the market will do four different body colors: classic – black and white, and yellow and red.
If the available information will be truthful, Sony Xperia Z1 mini has the potential to become a popular device, because so far none of the manufacturers do not offer anything like this in such a compact package, and wishing a lot.
