The company Jolla, which is actively preparing for the start of sales of the smartphone platform Sailfish , previously expressed support for Android-applications. However, instead of the traditional official Google Play Store developers have decided to give preference to an alternative solution – Yandex.Store.

Currently available in store Yandex.Store more than 85 thousand applications in 17 categories. Users are offered protection against viruses, search function, and automatic updating of applications. It is also possible to pay by credit card purchase programs, from mobile phone account or using a payment system “Yandex”. Initially, the company “Yandex” considered as store distribution channel popular in Russia’s own search service, maps, navigation, and cloud-based solutions. But there are also available and popular third-party applications, such as, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, WeChat and others.
